A new teaser released by Kia for the upcoming Seltos facelift reveals its advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features. Read on to know more about the new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift To Offer ADAS Features

The new Seltos facelift teaser reveals its full-colour LCD instrument cluster, which could measure up to 10.25 inches in size. While the teaser doesn’t directly reveal its advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features, a few key details confirm that the updated C-segment SUV will offer ADAS features. The instrument cluster in the video reveals the animation for the lane keeping assist with the Seltos virtual car in the middle. Along with that, the lane keeping assist icon can also be seen in the video.

The Seltos is likely to offer a whole suite of Level-2 ADAS features, making it the only Kia to offer ADAS features after the all-electric Kia EV6 crossover. Going forward, more Kia offerings like the Carens MPV and Sonet B2-SUV are also likely to offer ADAS features in their respective top variants.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Powertrain Details

The 2023 Kia Seltos is likely to offer the same set of normal petrol and turbo diesel engine options as the current model. Furthermore, Kia could also offer the new 1.5L turbo petrol engine in the Seltos as a replacement for the now discontinued 1.35L (1.4L in Kia’s speak) turbo petrol engine. The new 1.5L turbo petrol engine already powers other Kia and Hyundai offerings like the Kia Carens, Hyundai Alcazar and new Verna sedan. Kia are likely to offer a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Launch Details

While the Seltos facelift is all set to debut on July 4, 2023, the carmaker is tight-lipped about its launch timeline. However, since both Kia and Seltos celebrate their anniversary in August 2023, we think that the month of August is the perfect time to launch the Seltos facelift.
