Land Rover Begin Deliveries For The 2023 Discovery Sport | V3Cars

Land Rover India have started deliveries for the 2023 Discovery Sport. It comes with a 5+2 seating layout along with a new set of features. Available in R-Dynamic SE model, Land Rover offer the Discovery Sport with both turbo petrol and diesel engines.

2023 Land Rover Discovery Sport

On the design front, the 2023 Land Rover Discovery Sport remains similar to the 2019 model. It gets a sleeker grille, flanked by LED headlights with twin LED DRLs. The lower part of the bumper houses vertically-stacked air dams. Around the side, it gets multi-spoke, 19-inch alloy wheels and body cladding. At the rear, it gets LED tail lights and large ‘Discovery Sport’ lettering spread across the tailgate.

infotainment system

On the inside, the 2023 Discovery Sport gets the new Pivi infotainment system with better connectivity. In addition to that, the new Discovery Sport also gets a new steering wheel with capacitive controls for the infotainment and instrument cluster. Speaking of the instrument cluster, the India-spec Discovery Sport comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster whereas the global model gets a full-colour LCD unit.

2023 Discovery Sport

On the powertrain front, the new Discovery Sport comes with a choice of 2.0L turbo diesel or a 2.0L turbo petrol engine. The 2.0L turbo diesel pumps out 200PS of power and 430Nm of torque. The 2.0L turbo petrol, on the other hand, produces 250PS of power and 365Nm of torque. Both engines come with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, 4-wheel-drive and a 48V mild-hybrid system.

2023 Discovery Sport

Land Rover offer the Discovery Sport at Rs. 71.39 lakh no matter the powertrain you choose. It sits around Rs. 1 lakh shy of the Range Rover Evoque, which is a tad smaller but more premium than the Discovery Sport. The Land Rover Discovery Sport rivals other premium family SUVs like the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Volvo XC60 and Audi Q5.
