New-Gen Tata Nexon 2023 Reaches Dealerships Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars
Tata Motors have started dispatching the new-gen Tata Nexon ahead of its launch. Tata Motors are likely to launch the new Nexon in September 2023. Read on to know everything we know so far about the new 2023 Tata Nexon.

2023 Tata Nexon Starts Reaching Dealerships
A new set of spy shots of the upcoming Tata Nexon recently surfaced online while it was being unloaded from a flat bed. The new images reveal its white colour along with the changes at the rear of the SUV. The spy shot also reveals the new blue colour option of the.updated version of Tata’s popular SUV..

The new Nexon gets a large connected LED tail light design. The LED tail lights are connected with a thin LED strip and they form a Y-pattern towards either ends. While the bumper gets a generous use of black cladding, a part of this cladding also extends to the boot lip in a bid to make the rear end of the new Nexon more stylish. Needless to say, the new tail light design makes the new Nexon look a lot wider than what it actually is.
While we are yet to get a clear set of images of its front profile, earlier spy shots revealed a similar connected light treatment for the headlamps as well. The new Nexon will join the rest of Tata SUVs by offering a split headlight design. Moreover, it will be the first Tata SUV to boast the latest design language, which incorporates a connected LED DRL design at the front. The same design treatment will also make its way to the Harrier and Safari SUVs soon.

2023 Tata Nexon Gets A Major Interior Overhaul
Like the exterior, the new 2023 Tata Nexon will also offer a major overhaul inside the cabin. Apart from the redesign dashboard, the new Nexon will also make use of more premium materials for the seat upholstery and crash pads. The interior spy shots reveal indigo-coloured seat upholstery and the same material is also used on the lower part of the dashboard.
Other key features of the 2023 Tata Nexon interior include a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system and a full-colour LCD display. Like we reported earlier, the new Nexon will also boast Tata’s new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo in the centre. Along with current models set of features, the new Nexon could also offer wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rain-sensing wipers, 360-degree parking camera, and capacitive steering-mounted controls.
2023 Tata Nexon Powertrain Details
While the new Nexon will offer a host of changes in terms of its design and features, it is likely to retain the current model’s powertrain options. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine, which in the current iteration produces 120PS of power and 170Nm of torque, is likely to boast no changes except for one — the transmission. While the 6-speed manual is likely to remain as is, Tata could introduce a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with the new Nexon instead of the 6-speed AMT of the current model. The diesel variants of the new Nexon are expected to retain the current model’s 1.5L turbo diesel engine and 6-speed manual and AMT transmission choices.
New-Gen Tata Nexon Launch Details
Since the 2023 Tata Nexon has started reaching dealerships, we expect Tata Motors to reveal the new Nexon in September 2023. The carmaker is likely to open Nexon bookings soon and we expect Tata to reveal the full price list in mid-September. The new Nexon will continue to rival other B2-SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
