2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Interior Spied Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars
Tata Motors will soon launch the new 2023 Nexon facelift in India. Ahead of its launch, a new video surfaced on the internet giving a sneak peek into the interior of the upcoming B2-segment SUV.

Tata Nexon Facelift Interior Spied
The video reveals the new dashboard of the Nexon facelift. The most perceptible change in the leaked video of the Nexon facelift is the new 2-spoke steering wheel, which was shown with the Curvv concept. It remains to be seen whether the Tata logo on the steering wheel will light up or not. Furthermore, the new steering wheel also features new controls for multimedia and cruise control function.

Like the current Nexon, the Nexon facelift too will feature a flowing centre console. The interior video also reveals a new gear selector with leather top finishing. Other details include a wireless phone charger, engine drive modes, automatic climate control and a larger floating-type touchscreen infotainment system.
Tata Nexon Facelift Exterior Changes
The new video also reveals more details about the updated face of the Nexon hiding under camouflage. The Nexon facelift is likely to offer a split LED headlight design, which will make it fall in line with the smaller Punch and larger Harrier SUVs. It could feature a connected LED light bar covering the width of the front and merging with the Tata logo at the centre. The main headlight, on the other hand, will sit lower on the bumper and it could feature LED projector headlamps with white illumination.
The side profile could get a new design for the 16-inch alloy wheels whereas the rear could get a connected LED light bar with dynamic turn indicators as well. Furthermore, the new video reveals the top-mounted rear wiper, which is seen in the Range Rover SUVs. When not in use, the rear wiper neatly tucks itself under the rear spoiler, not visible to the eye.

Tata Nexon Facelift Powertrain Details
The Tata Nexon facelift is likely to be powered by Tata’s new 1.2L turbo petrol engine. While the carmaker stated that this engine would make its debut with the Curvv SUV, we expect it to power the Nexon facelift first. The new 1.2L turbo petrol engine produces 125PS of power and 190Nm of torque. The new 1.2L turbo petrol will be available with an increased torque output of 225Nm version as well. However, this version of the engine will power bigger Tata cars like the Curvv. Furthermore, the 1.5L turbo diesel engine is likely to be carried as is in the Nexon facelift. Transmission choices could include a new dual-clutch automatic, replacing the automated manaul transmission (AMT) whereas the 6-speed manual is likely to be carried as is.
Tata Nexon Facelift Launch Timeline And Rivals
Since the Nexon is currently one of the oldest offerings in the B2-segment space, Tata Motors could launch the Nexon facelift around August this year. The new Nexon could be Tata’s offering for the upcoming festive season. It will rival the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Hyundai Venue facelift. Its other segment rivals include the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
