2023 Tata Safari Bookings Open
Buyers interested in the new Safari can book the SUV either from their nearest Tata dealership or via the carnaker’s online portal. Tata Motors are yet to announce the booking amount for the 2023 Safari SUV. The latest images of the updated SUV do not reveal any design changes except for the addition of a radar sensor on the lower bumper for ADAS features. The Safari continues to offer a split headlight design along with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED taillights.

As we stated earlier, the 2023 Safari will finally offer advanced driver assistance features (ADAS). While it offers most of the ADAS features found in its rivals, it lacks adaptive cruise control, which the Mahindra XUV700 and MG Hector Plus offer.
Take a look at the ADAS features of the Safari:
The 2023 Safari also offers a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This unit will run Tata’s updated operating system and offer features like connected car tech, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Furthermore, the new Safari also offers a 7.0-inch digital driver’s display with digital temperature and fuel gauges and tachometer. Furthermore, the 2023 Safari also offers 6-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory and welcome function, power-adjustable co-passenger seat with electric boss mode and surround ambient lighting for the panoramic sunroof.

The 2023 Safari continues to come with a 2.0L turbo diesel engine. This engine complies with upcoming BS6 phase-2 emission norms. It continues to produce 170PS of power at 3750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. The transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Tata Motors are likely to announce the prices of the 2023 Safari in the coming weeks. It will continue to go up against the likes of the MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700 5-seater. Unlike the XUV700 and Hector, the Safari only gets a single engine option. However, Tata Motors have revealed their new series of petrol engines that will power their models in the near future, including the Harrier and Safari SUVs.
