Tata Motors have launched the new Tiago EV and its prices start from Rs. 8.49 lakh. The Tiago EV is offered with 2 battery pack options — 19.2kWh and 24kWh, and variants equipped with the latter offer a claimed range of over 315km.

2023 Tata Tiago EV Features:

Tata Tiago EV gets a lot more features over the regular Tiago and even the Tigor EV. New features in the Tiago EV include automatic projector headlights, rain sensing wipers, keyless entry with push/button start-stop, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, auto AC (standard) and leatherette seats.

The introductory prices are valid for the first 10,000 Tiago EV buyers. Of these, Tata Motors say 2,000 units will be reserved for Nexon EV customers who wish to add another electric car to their garage.

As we stated earlier, the Tiago EV comes loaded with a ton of features and it is worth noting that Tata offer connected car apps as standard on all variants. Users will get the option to pre-cool the cabin along with access to features such as remote ignition, geo fencing, realt-time charge status, etc. right through their smartphone.

2023 Tata Tiago Bookings, Delivery Timeline

Tata Motors will open bookings for the Tiago EV on October 10, 2022 while deliveries will begin in January 2023. Tata Motors were tight-lipped about the waiting period and sales projection for the Tiago EV. The carmaker has stated that it will plan production of the Tiago EV based on the number of bookings it receives and the time it takes to deliver them in the first few months. Meanwhile, Tata Motors are working towards expanding their presence in the electric car segment from 90 cities to 170 cities.
