Hyundai are currently working on the India-spec Creta facelift, which will be different from the global-spec model. The new spy shots now give us a sneak peek into a few design details of the Creta facelift, which look inspired by the Exter. Read on to know more details about the upcoming Hyundai Creta facelift.

The new images reveal new H-pattern lighting elements in the LED tail lights, just like in the new Exter that was launched earlier this month. The 2024 Creta facelift is likely to borrow other design cues from the new Exter as well.

Apart from that, the new Creta facelift is likely to boast a larger front grille with chrome elements and a front parking camera. Around the side, it could feature a new design for the alloy wheels and side parking cameras on the ORVMs. At the rear, the spy image reveals the new design for the LED tail lights, which could also incorporate a connected LED light bar.
On the inside, the Creta facelift could offer a revamped dashboard with more features than the current model. The 2024 Hyundai Creta could feature the Alcazar’s 10.25-inch touchscreen instrument cluster and is also likely to offer advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features to have a competitive edge against the MG Astor, Honda Elevate and Kia Seltos facelift.

In terms of engine options, the new Creta facelift is likely to retain the current 1.5L normal petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engines. Meanwhile, Hyundai-Kia’s new 1.5L turbo engine is likely to replace the now-discontinued 1.35L turbo petrol engine. The 1.5L turbo petrol engine already powers the turbo petrol variants of the Verna sedan and Alcazar SUV. This engine produces 160PS of power at 5500rpm and 253Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3500rpm. In the Verna and Alcazar, this engine comes with the option of either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

Hyundai are likely to launch the Creta facelift in early 2024. The carmaker recently launched the Verna sedan and new Exter small SUV. We expect Hyundai dealerships to commence unofficial bookings for the Creta facelift towards the end of 2023 and its global reveal could take place at the start of 2024.
