The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift was launched in the country today at a starting price of Rs. 6.49 lakh. Available in 5 variants, the new Swift comes with an all-new normal petrol engine that offers best-in-segment mileage or fuel efficiency figures. Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 – Variant-Wise Ex-Showroom Prices
The new Swift 2024 is available in 5 variants with prices ranging from Rs. 6.49 lakh to Rs. 9.64 lakh. Rivals for the new Swift 2024 include the Tata Tiago, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis.

The new Swift hatchback is offered with Suzuki’s new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder normal petrol engine that produces 81.6PS of power and 112Nm of torque. Maruti Suzuki claim the new Swift offers a mileage of 24.80kmpl with the manual transmission and 25.75kmpl with the automatic transmission.
Compared to the old Swift, the new model is more efficient, offering a significant jump in mileage of 3.34 - 3.16kmpl depending on the transmission. These figures are about 14-15% higher than the old Swift. Here’s how the new Swift 2024’s powertrain compares against its predecessor:
The new Swift hatchback is offered with Suzuki’s new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder normal petrol engine that produces 81.6PS of power and 112Nm of torque. When compared to the old Swift, the new model offers 8.2PS lower power output and the torque output is also 1Nm lower than before. What’s notable about the new Swift is that it makes its peak power and peak torque a little lower in the rev range.
Maruti Suzuki claim the new Swift offers a mileage of 24.80kmpl with the manual transmission and 25.75kmpl with the automatic transmission. Compared to the old Swift, the new model is more efficient, offering a significant jump in mileage of 3.34 - 3.16kmpl depending on the transmission.
