2024 MG Windsor EV Test Drive, Booking Amount, Delivery Timelines Revealed

We now have more concrete information about the MG Windsor EV test drives, booking amount, reservation date and delivery timelines. Here’s all the latest information about the Windsor EV.

Here’s the full timeline:

September 11, 2024: MG Windsor EV base variant price announcement with BaaS (battery as a service)
September 11, 2024: Reservation starts at MG dealerships and MG India website. Customers taking delivery before December 31 with bookings before October 31, 2024 will get the introductory launch prices
September 23/24, 2024: Media drive review start coming (possibly along with price of MG Windsor top model and mid variant)
September 25, 2024: Customer test drives begin
September 25-October 2, 2024: Full price list reveal including higher variants with and without battery subscription. Exact date not confirmed.
October 3, 2024: Bookings Start
1. Booking amount: Rs. 11,000
2. Booking fully refundable in case of cancellation (except for transaction charges in case of online or card payment)
October 12, 2024: Deliveries begin

For now, MG India have only announced the base Windsor EV Excite variant price, which is R. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Please note that this is price without including the battery subscription cost. The subscription rates stand at Rs. 5,250 per month and includes a 1,500km driving limit, which is the minimum subscription cost. For customers with higher drivnig requirements, there will be more options coming soon. We are awaiting more information from MG regarding BaaS and the costs involved, so stay tuned to V3Cars for all the details, including the actual ex-showroom cost of the Windsor EV without the BaaS rental package.

MG Windsor EV Bookings To Commence On October 3

While interested buyers can currently register their interest in buying the Windsor EV on MG’s website, the brand will officially open bookings for the Windsor EV on October 3. Deliveries of the new MG Windsor EV will begin on October 12 (Dussehra).
