Tata Motors have updated the Altroz range by introducing 6 airbags in select variants. Tata have also launched 2 new variants of the B2-segment hatchback and updated the top variant as well. Check out the prices and features of the new and updated Altroz variants here.
2024 Tata Altroz New And Updated Variants – Prices And Features
Tata Motors have launched 2 new variants of the Altroz called the XZ Lux and XZ Plus Lux priced at Rs. 9.0 lakh and Rs. 9.65 lakh, respectively. Tata have also updated the top XZ Plus OS variant of the Altroz and it is now priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variants are available with the following powertrain options:
- 1.2L normal petrol with 5-speed manual
- 1.2L normal petrol with 6-speed DCT automatic
- 1.5L diesel with 5-speed manual
- 1.2L CNG bi-fuel with 5-speed manual
The standard Altroz is no longer available with the 1.2L turbo petrol engine.

The new Altroz XZ Lux variant gets the following features:

The Tata Altroz Racer is already a 5-star Global NCAP safety rated hatchback. The addition of 6 airbags in the top 2 variants of the Altroz is a welcome addition as it makes the hatchback safer than before.
