The Tata Punch EV is set to launch tomorrow. Tata Motors commenced bookings for the Punch EV in the first week of January 2024 for a token amount of Rs. 21,000. In this article, we take a look at the features, expected battery pack specifications and range of Tata Punch EV.

2024 Tata Punch EV Battery Pack Specifications

According to a recent leak, the Tata Punch EV will come with 2 electric powertrain options. The Tata Punch EV standard range is likely to offer 82PS of power and 114Nm of torque and come with a 25kW battery pack and offer an ARAI-claimed range of 312km. The Punch EV long range is expected to pack a 35kWh battery pack and produce 112PS of power and 190Nm of torque. It will offer a range of 400km per charge.

Tata Punch EV Expected Price

The Tata Punch EV will be offered in 5 variants – Smart, Smart Plus, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered Plus. The Punch EV standard range will be offered in all 5 variants while the Punch EV long range will be offered from Adventure variant onwards.

When launched, the Tata Punch EV is expected to rival the Citroen eC3. Hence, we expect the Punch EV to sport a similar price tag as the Citroen eSUV. The Tata Punch EV Smart base variant is likely to cost Rs. 12.0 lakh while the Tata Punch Empowered Plus Sunroof top variant could cost around Rs. 14.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
