Kia have launched the 2025 Carens Clavis at a starting price of Rs. 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 Carens Clavis offers several design upgrades as well feature additions over older Carens. Available in 7 variants with multiple engine and transmission options, the new Carens Clavis rivals other 3-row SUVs and MPVs in the C-segment such as the Maruti XL6, Hyundai Alcazar, Citroen Aircross and the older Carens itself.

2025 Kia Carens Clavis Variant-Wise Prices
Kia Clavis is available with 6 powertrain options and the following price ranges for each:
- 1.5L normal petrol-MT (3 variants): Rs. 11.50 lakh to Rs. 13.50 lakh
- 1.5L turbo petrol-MT (6 variants): Rs. 13.40 lakh to Rs. 19.40 lakh
- 1.5L turbo petrol-ACMT (2 variants): Rs. 18.70 lakh to Rs. 19.70 lakh
- 1.5L turbo petrol-DCT automatic (3 variants): Rs. 16.90 lakh to Rs. 21.50 lakh
- 1.5L turbo diesel-MT (6 variants): Rs. 13.50 lakh to Rs. 19.50 lakh
- 1.5L turbo diesel-TC automatic (1 variant): Rs. 18.0 lakh
Here’s the additional premium you are paying for specific engine/transmission option:
- For turbo petrol over normal petrol: Rs. 90,000
- For turbo petrol auto-clutch manual over full manual: Rs. 30,000
- For turbo petrol automatic over turbo petrol manual: Rs. 1.50 lakh (Rs. 2.10 lakh for top model as automatic also gets ADAS features)
- Turbo diesel over normal petrol: Rs. 2.0 lakh
- Turbo diesel manual over turbo petrol manual: Rs. 1.15 lakh
- Diesel automatic over petrol-automatic: Rs. 1.10 lakh

2025 Kia Carens Clavis Dimensions
The Carens Clavis is 4550mm long, 1800mm wide and 1708mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2780mm, which is the same as before. Its boot space in 3-row mode is 216 litres and with the 3rd row folded down, it expands to 645 litres. The Clavis now gets larger 17-inch wheels in higher variants with wider 215 section tyres.

2025 Kia Carens Clavis Powertrain Options
The Carens Clavis gets 3 engine options:
- 1.5L normal petrol: The normal petrol makes 115PS of power and 144Nm of torque. This engine has a mileage of 15.34kmpl. It only gets a 6-speed manual transmission.
- 1.5L turbo petrol: The turbo petrol makes 160PS of power and 253Nm of torque between 1500 and 3500rpm. This engine has a claimed mileage of 15.95kmpl with the manual and 16.66kmpl with automatic transmission. It gets 3 transmission options:
- 6-speed manual
- 6-speed auto-clutch manual (ACMT)
- 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT)
- 1.5L turbo diesel: The diesel engine makes 116PS of power and 250Nm of torque between 1500 and 2750rpm. It has an ARAI mileage figure of 19.54kmpl with the manual and 17.50kmpl with automatic. It has 2 transmission options:
- 6-speed manual
- 6-speed torque converter automatic
