2025 Tata Sierra To Debut Tomorrow | V3Cars
Tata Motors are gearing up to debut the much-awaited Sierra SUV tomorrow, ahead of its official launch and price reveal on November 25, 2025. The 2025 Sierra, which is set to debut Tata’s new 1.5L turbo petrol engine, will take on established rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and the Kia Seltos, among others.
In this article, we take a closer look at the new Sierra SUV ahead of its debut:
2025 Tata Sierra Expected Prices
Considering the size and expected engine options for the new Sierra, we expect it to cost between Rs. 12.5 lakh to Rs. 21 lakh (ex-showroom). This could help Tata Motors position the Sierra between the Curvv (Rs. 9.66 lakh - 18.85 lakh) and the Harrier (Rs. 14 lakh - 25.25 lakh). It also puts it in the same ball park as other C-SUVs such as the Creta (Rs. 10.73 lakh - Rs. 20.20 lakh) and the Kia Seltos (Rs. 10.79 lakh - Rs. 19.81 lakh).
Coincidentally, the Kia Seltos is set to get a generation update early next year, and you can find out more details about it by clicking the link below:

2025 Tata Sierra Exterior And Interior Features
The 2025 Tata Sierra retains the upright stance that made the original iconic, but the new model wraps it in a distinctly modern design language. The front gets a bold, gloss-black grille framed by a full-width LED DRL strip, with ‘Sierra’ proudly spelled out across the nose. Lower down, the bumper sports vertically arranged fog lamps and a contrasting silver skid plate, adding to its tough, SUV-ready appeal.

In profile, Tata have reimagined the classic Alpine window theme. Instead of the curved glass from the earlier model, the new Sierra uses a blacked-out B- and C-pillar treatment to create a floating-roof effect, complemented by a black roof and a large panoramic sunroof. Flush-fitting door handles and stylish dual-tone alloy wheels further sharpen the SUV’s contemporary character.
At the rear, the upright and squared-off styling continues. A connected LED tail-light bar, a subtle roof spoiler, and a chunky matte-black bumper round off the Sierra’s robust, boxy aesthetic.

Inside, the top variants of the Sierra will offer a triple-screen layout, which includes a digital driver’s display, a touchscreen infotainment system and a front co-passenger entertainment display. The new Sierra will also offer the following features:
- Panoramic sunroof
- Ventilated front seats
- Wireless charging
- Dual-zone climate control
- Ambient lighting
- Premium JBL sound system
- 360-degree surround view system

A protruding element on top of the digital instrument cluster suggests the new Sierra could also offer a head-up display (HUD), which could make it the first Tata car to offer this feature.Other features highlighted in the new video include a 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, touch-based AC control panel, and a grey and black cabin theme.
2025 Tata Sierra Powertrain Options And Safety
The Sierra ICE is expected to offer 3 engine options:
- 1.5L normal petrol
- 1.5L turbo petrol
- 1.5L diesel
While the specifications of the 1.5L normal petrol engine are not available at the moment, Tata have revealed the power, torque and transmission options for the turbo petrol and diesel engines.
