2026 Kia Seltos Interior Spied Ahead Of Global Debut On December 10 | V3Cars

The interior of the next-generation Kia Seltos 2026 has been spied, giving us a clear look at the SUV’s revamped cabin. The 2nd generation Seltos is gearing up for one of its biggest updates since its introduction in 2019, and the leaked images confirm a significant improvement in design, features, and materials.

2026 Kia Seltos Interior Spied Ahead Of Global Debut

Until recently, the Seltos was one of the most feature-rich C-SUV in the country. However, rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Victoris and the recently-launched Tata Sierra now offer more premium features than the Kia SUV. With the new model, Kia seem determined to push the SUV even further upmarket, just like the Syros in the B-SUV segment.

2026 Kia Seltos Interior – First Look At The New Cabin

The second-generation Kia Seltos will offer a thoroughly revised cabin layout. Here’s what the spy shots reveal:

1. Twin-Screen Layout (Infotainment + Digital Driver’s Display)

While the Tata Sierra 2026 has set a new benchmark in terms of tech features, offering a triple screen layout in its top variants, the Seltos 2026 will continue to offer a twin-screen layout. However, unlike its predecessor, the new Seltos will offer a single connected panel that houses twin 12.3-inch screens. The curved, floating-style unit is similar to the one offered in the new Hyundai Venue.

2. New 3-Spoke Steering Wheel

The steering wheel in the Seltos 2026 is an all-new unit, featuring a sportier shape with integrated controls. Unlike the new Tata Sierra that offers touch-based controls, Kia have opted for physical buttons that can be operated without looking away from the road. Based on our experience, physical buttons are safer, more reliable, and far more practical for Indian driving conditions.

3. New AC Vents And Upgraded Centre Console

The Seltos 2026 will offer slimmer AC vents that are neatly integrated into the dashboard. Additionally, the centre console gets a major redesign with a new gear selector and covered cup holders.

Potential buyers of the Seltos 2206 can also expect more soft-touch surfaces and richer upholstery textures. The GT Line variant in these spy shots also feature aluminium pedals for a sporty aesthetic.

Kia Seltos 2026 Expected Features

While Kia are yet to confirm the full feature list of the Seltos 2026, we expect the new-gen SUV to offer:

  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Powered driver’s seat
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Wireless charger
  • Bose sound system

In terms of safety, expect the Seltos to offer Level-2 ADAS, 6 airbags, 360-degree surround view camera, and an electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold.

2026 Kia Seltos Expected Powertrain

Kia have not disclosed engine options in the teaser. However, based on industry expectations, the 2026 Seltos is likely to continue with its proven ICE lineup, which consists of a 1.5L normal petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol and a 1.5L turbo diesel engine.

Reports suggest Kia are evaluating a strong hybrid petrol engine for the 2026 Seltos. If introduced, the new Seltos will take on rival hybrid SUVs such as the Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.

2026 Kia Seltos India Launch Timeline

The new Kia Seltos 2026 will make its global debut on 10 December, 2025. We expect Kia India to launch the new Seltos on our shores in early 2026. When launched, the new Seltos will continue to rival C-segment SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor and the recently-launched Tata Sierra, among others.
