Mahindra have launched the 2026 Thar Roxx Star Edition with prices starting from Rs. 16.85 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition of the Thar Roxx offers a few changes over the standard variants. Here are its top highlights.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition Launched

1. New Colour Option With Blacked-Out Elements

The Thar Roxx Star Edition is offered with a new colour option. Called Citrine Yellow, this shade of yellow gives the Thar Roxx a youthful appearance. The Star Edition also offers contrasting black elements such as a piano black grille and 19-inch black alloy wheels. Additionally, the C-pillar gets a ‘Star Edition’ badge. Together, they give the Thar Roxx a fresh appearance.

Apart from the new yellow colour option, the Thar Roxx Star Edition is also available in 3 more colours:

Red (Tango Red)
White (Everest White)
Black (Stealth Black)

2. All-Black Interior

On the inside, the Thar Roxx Star Edition gets a black and grey interior instead of the white interior theme on the standard variants. Highlights include black leatherette upholstery with suede accents. With the launch of the special edition SUV, the 2026 Thar Roxx is now available with 3 interior options – white, brown and black.

3. Retains Features From AX7 Variant

Based on the AX7 variant, the Thar Roxx Star Edition offers features such as:

All-LED lighting
Panoramic sunroof
6-way powered driver’s seat
Auto AC with rear vents
2x 10.25-inch screens
Ventilated front seats
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system
Wireless phone charger
Terrain modes
Keyless entry
Cooled glovebox

In terms of safety, the Thar Roxx offers 6 airbags as standard along with disc brakes on all wheels, an electronic parking brake, auto hold, 360-degree surround view monitor, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Note: The Thar Roxx Star Edition is not available with 4-wheel-drive.

2026 Mahindra Tha Roxx Powertrain Options

Mahindra are offering the Thar Roxx Star Edition with 3 powertrain options:

2.2L Diesel with 6-speed manual
2.2L Diesel with 6-speed automatic
2L Turbo Petrol with 6-speed automatic

The 2026 Thar Roxx’s 2.2L diesel engine produces 152PS of power and 330Nm of torque in rear-wheel drive guise. The petrol-automatic option offers 177PS of power and 380nm of torque.
