Tata Motors have introduced the new 2026 Curvv EV Series X lineup with prices starting from Rs. 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Curvv EV range brings 2 new long-range variants – Accomplished X 55 and Empowered X 55 – offering a clearer, more feature-rich proposition in the C-segment electric SUV space.

With this update, Tata Motors have streamlined the Curvv EV range into more straightforward, value-focused personas instead of a complex variant spread. Earlier, the Curvv EV 55kWh variant started at Rs. 19.25 lakh with the Accomplished variant. The new Accomplished X 55 variant is now the most affordable Curvv EV variant, being Rs. 50,000 more affordable than the base Creative 45 variant. With the SeriesX update, Tata are clearly trying to simplify the buying decision and push higher perceived value per variant.

Accomplished X 55: Key Features

The Accomplished X 55 variant focuses on offering a well-rounded mix of comfort and tech. Key highlights include:

  • Dual 10.25-inch screens (infotainment + driver display)
  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

Empowered X 55: What’s Extra?

The top-spec Empowered X 55 builds on the Accomplished variant with a stronger focus on luxury and tech. Key additions include:

  • 6-way power-adjustable driver seat
  • Reclining rear seats
  • Larger 12.3-inch infotainment system by Harman
  • JBL 9-speaker sound system with subwoofer
  • Level-2 ADAS (20 features)
  • Gesture-controlled powered tailgate
  • Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) support
  • Frunk (front storage)
  • 18-inch alloy wheels

It is also available in the #DARK edition for buyers looking for a more aggressive visual identity.

Battery, Range & Performance

The Curvv EV SeriesX is powered by a 55kWh battery pack, delivering and ARAI-claimed range of 502km and a real-world (C75) range of around 400km. The electric motor produces 167PS of power and 215Nm of torque, which should offer adequate performance for both city and highway usage.

Tata are also offering a lifetime battery warranty (15 years for the first owner), which significantly strengthens the ownership proposition, especially for long-term EV buyers.

Design & Colours

The Curvv EV continues with its SUV-coupe styling, now offered in 5 colour options, including a new red (Nitro Crimson) shade. The #DARK edition further enhances its appeal with blacked-out elements.
