Tata Nexon Becomes Most Affordable Car With Panoramic Sunroof – Prices Start At Rs. 9.59 Lakh | V3Cars

Tata Motors have launched a new Pure Plus PS variant of the Nexon SUV at a starting price of Rs. 9.59 lakh (ex-showroom). With this update, the 2026 Nexon has overtaken the Kia Syros to become the most affordable car in India to offer a panoramic sunroof. It is also the only car to offer this feature at a price of under Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

The newly introduced Pure Plus PS variant sits between the Pure Plus S and Creative variants in the 2026 Nexon lineup. It is available with petrol, CNG and diesel powertrain options. Here are their prices:

Tata Nexon Panoramic Sunroof Now Rs. 1.73 Lakh More Affordable

Until now, buyers had to opt for the higher-spec Creative Plus PS, priced from Rs. 11.32 lakh, to get a panoramic sunroof in the Nexon. With the introduction of the new Pure Plus PS trim, Tata have reduced the entry price for this feature by Rs. 1.73 lakh.

This also means the Nexon now undercuts the Kia Syros, which previously held the title of the most affordable car in India with a panoramic sunroof.

Despite being positioned lower in the lineup, the new Nexon Pure Plus PS variant packs several premium features. Key highlights include:

Tata Nexon Pure Plus PS Powertrain Options

Tata offer the new Pure Plus PS trim with multiple engine options, including petrol, CNG and diesel. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine produces 120PS of power, while the diesel engine develops 115PS. Tata are also offering the panoramic sunroof-equipped trim with the factory-fitted CNG powertrain, making the Nexon one of the very few CNG SUVs in India with this feature. Depending on the engine choice, buyers can opt for manual and automatic transmission options.

Tata Nexon Rivals

The Tata Nexon continues to compete against compact SUVs such as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
