Tata Motors have officially launched the 2026 Sierra EV at a starting price of Rs. 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV, the Sierra EV brings together bold styling, premium features, dual battery options and an optional all-wheel-drive system.
In this article, we take a look at the biggest highlights of the new 2026 Sierra EV. But first, here’s a look at the 2026 Sierra EV prices:

1. Familiar Sierra Design With EV-Specific Touches
The Sierra EV stays true to the design revealed in earlier teasers. It features a body-coloured closed-off grille, connected LED DRLs, full-width LED tail lamps, gloss black bumper inserts, silver skid plates and exclusive Sierra.ev badging. The SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels.
2. Two Battery Pack Options
Tata Motors are offering the Sierra EV with 2 battery pack options:
- 63kWh
- 75kWh
This allows buyers to choose between a lower entry price or a longer driving range.
3. Up To 665km Claimed Range
The larger 75kWh battery pack offers a claimed driving range of 665km, while Tata estimate a real-world range of around 510-530km.
The 63kWh battery delivers a claimed range of 565km and a real-world range of 440-460km.
4. Available With Rear-Wheel Drive Or QWD
Standard variants feature a rear-mounted electric motor driving the rear wheels, while higher variants add a front motor to offer Tata's Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) all-wheel-drive system.
5. 0-100kmph In Just 5.8 Seconds
The top-spec dual-motor Sierra EV accelerates from 0-100kmph in just 5.8 seconds, making it one of Tata's quickest production vehicles.
6. 120kW DC Fast Charging
The Sierra EV supports DC fast charging at up to 120kW.
In just 15 minutes, buyers can add:
- 263km of claimed range (75kWh)
- 238km of claimed range (63kWh)
Charging options also include:
- 3.3kW portable charger
- 7.2kW AC home charger
- 120kW DC fast charging
7. Vehicle-To-Load And Vehicle-To-Vehicle Charging
Like the Harrier EV, the Sierra EV supports both Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging, allowing the battery to power external appliances or charge another EV.
8. Premium Triple-Screen Cabin
The Sierra EV features a modern dashboard with a triple-screen layout featuring three 12-inch screens. Other interior highlights include:
- Panoramic sunroof
- Head-up display
- Wireless Apple CarPlay
- Wireless Android Auto
- Dolby Atmos support
9. Segment-First Soundbar
One of the standout features is a segment-first soundbar that's part of a 12-speaker JBL Black premium audio system for an immersive listening experience.
10. Comfort-Focused Suspension
The Sierra EV features a sophisticated 5-link rear suspension with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD), designed to improve both ride comfort and handling.
11. Loaded With Convenience Features
Feature highlights include:
- PM2.5 air purifier with ioniser
- Advanced Park Assist
- Summon Mode
- 622-litre boot
- 55-litre front trunk (frunk)
12. Comprehensive Safety Package
The Sierra EV comes equipped with:
- 6 airbags
- Level-2 ADAS
- Adaptive cruise control
- Lane keep assist
- Forward collision warning
- Autonomous emergency braking
- Rear collision warning
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Electronic stability control
- Tyre pressure monitoring system
- 540-degree surround-view camera with underbody view
- 3-point seatbelts for all occupants
13. Lifetime Battery Warranty
Tata Motors are offering a lifetime warranty on both battery pack options, providing additional peace of mind for long-term ownership.
14. Sustainable Materials Throughout The Cabin
The Sierra EV makes extensive use of recycled and sustainable materials across the cabin, including the floor carpet, luggage compartment, wheel arch liners, mud liners, dashboard trim, HVAC ducts, door inserts and headliner.

The Sierra EV is offered in a total of 7 colours:
- White
- Yellow
- Grey
- Beige
- Red
- Light blue
