The Hyundai Verna 2023 is the latest C2-segment sedan in India and it rivals the recently-updated Honda City facelift. In this article, we list 5 features that the Honda CIty offers but the new Verna doesn’t.

The top variants of the Honda City offer LED fog lights whereas the new Verna doesn’t offer fog lights at all. Fog lights improve visibility while driving in dense, foggy conditions. It is worth noting that the previous generation Verna offered projector halogen fog lights. But since the new Verna offers a split headlight setup, Hyundai have removed fog lights from the new sedan.

While both the City and Verna offer automatic headlights, the City also offers rain-sensing wipers. Rain sensing wipers use a sensor placed above the IRVM to measure the intensity of rain and change the wiper speed accordingly.
The new City comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Verna, on the other hand, offers wired connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPay.

The top variants of the City offer an all-colour LCD display with customisable menus. The Verna, on the other hand, offers a full-colour multi-info display (MID) with a digital speedometer and tachometer. It is worth mentioning that the City also offers a conventional speedometer and tachometer while all other information is accessed via the digital display.
The top ZX variant of the City also offers Honda’s Lane Watch camera, which is placed below the left outside rear view mirror. It shows the blind spot area on the infotainment screen with just the press of a button, which is placed on the indicator stalk.
