The Kia Sonet is one of the best-selling B2-segment SUVs in the country. Ever since its launch, the Sonet has gained the tag of the most feature-rich sub-compact SUV in the country. While Maruti Suzuki have launched the new-gen Brezza, Toyota’s Urban Cruiser is based on the previous-gen Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. However, this has allowed Toyota to offer the Urban Cruiser at a competitive price.

1.  Height Adjustable Seatbelts

The Toyota Urban Cruiser offers height adjustable seatbelts in its top variants. The Kia Sonet, on the other hand, doesn’t offer height-adjustable seatbelts even in the top variants. Height adjustable seatbelts let a child or a short person adjust the height of the seatbelt for better comfort.

2. Cooled Glove Box

The Urban Cruiser offers a cooled glove box that keeps your drinks and beverages cool. The Urban Cruiser also offers a secondary globe box on the dashboard. The Sonet, on the other hand, doesn’t offer a cooled glove box.

3. LED Projector Fog Lamps

The Urban Cruiser comes with reflector-type LED fog lights that offer great illumination. The Sonet, on the other hand, gets halogen-based projector fog lamps.LED fog lights give the Urban Cruiser a premium appeal whereas the halogen fog lamps on the Sonet offer better illumination in foggy conditions.

4. 60:40 Rear Seat Split

The Urban Cruiser offers 60:40 split seats at the rear whereas the Sonet’s rear seat back folds as a single unit. A 60:40 split offers a lot more versatility in terms of seating and caro hauling capabilities. Hence, it makes the car a lot more practical.

5. 12V Rear Power Socket

The Urban Cruiser offers a rear 12V charging socket whereas the Sonet comes with a USB-A charging socket. While the USB charging port is useful to charge your devices, the 12V socket lets you plug accessories like a tyre inflator and vacuum cleaner.
