    6 Hot cars from the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show

    2016 Los Angeles Auto Show witnessed a plethora of hot cars and concepts. Here are just a few of them that we liked the best at the 2016 LA Auto Show. American car major, Ford introduced its EcoSport mini SUV to the US market with the new facelift model. The new facelift model is beefier, gives a miss to the tailgate mounted spare wheel and flaunts an up-market fully redone cabin with a new touchscreen and lots of other goodies.

    2016 Los Angeles Auto Show witnessed a plethora of hot cars and concepts. Here are just a few of them that we liked the best at the 2016 LA Auto Show:

    2017 Ford EcoSport

    American car major, Ford introduced its EcoSport mini SUV to the US market with the new facelift model. The new facelift model is beefier, gives a miss to the tailgate mounted spare wheel and flaunts an up-market fully redone cabin with a new touchscreen and lots of other goodies. It will retain its ongoing mechanical specs.

     The EcoSport was initially developed primarily for the car markets of India, China and Brazil, but the new updated and more premium EcoSport will make it to US as well. The EcoSport facelift will be manufactured in India and exported to the US alongside scores of other international markets.

    Jaguar I-Pace

    Jaguar presented the stunning electric car - Jaguar I-Pace. The gorgeous, green compact crossover addresses the need of the hour in great style. The I-Pace will hit production in 2018 and is claimed to offer a range of 500 kilometers on full charge.

    Jeep Compass

    The Jeep Compass compact SUV was introduced to America LA Auto Show. The compact SUV will be manufactured at four locations across the world in order to cater to the various markets. However, India will be the only production hub for all the Right-Hand-Drive markets. This means, the India made Compass will export to Australia, South Africa and UK. Fiat-Chrysler India will launch the Compass in India by April 2017 in both petrol and diesel versions with 2WD and 4WD and manual and automatic transmission options.

    Honda CR-V

    The latest generation Honda CR-V introduced itself in LA. The 5th generation premium SUV is said to be coming to the European and Asian markets including India, but the vehicle is still sometime away from its market launch. The all new Honda CR-V comes with an evolutionary design language and looks far premium and handsome than the 4th generation model. The US-spec all new CR-V comes with 5-seater configuration and a good cargo area. It comes with petrol engine options and is packed with new features. Its Indian launch is likely to happen at the 2018 Auto Expo.

    Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet

    Mercedes-Maybach is becoming a sought after exclusive sub-brand. It introduced the S650 Cabriolet which is the more powerful and exclusive version of the S-Cabriolet. In its red hot glossy color, the open-top car looked spectacular and it is not only about looks as it promises blazing performance coming from the 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine that offers 621hp. The convertible can sprint from 0 to 100kmph in just 4 seconds and offer a top speed of 250kmph.

    Cadillac Escala

    The Cadillac Escala is a jaw-dropping concept car. The sensational looking concept looks perfect to churn out a BMW 7 Series competitor. This concept is not overdone, but just perfect and is the kind of flamboyant large saloon that luxury car lovers adore. We’d surely love that concept to come to life.
