Maruti Suzuki recently revealed their all-new Grand Vitara SUV for our market. The new offering from the Nexa brand rivals other C-Segment SUVs like the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.

We put the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara against the Kia Seltos to bring you the list of 7 features that are missing in the Grand Vitara but present in the Seltos.
The Kia Seltos comes with turbo diesel and turbo petrol engine options, along with manual and automatic transmission options for both turbocharged engines. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki offer the Grand Vitara with mild- and strong-hybrid powertrains, which deliver high fuel efficiency but not great performance. Both the turbocharged engines of the Seltos offer around 250Nm of peak torque while the Grand Vitara manages to deliver a maximum of 141Nm with the strong hybrid powertrain.
The Kia Seltos comes with an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. The Grand Vitara, on the other hand, comes with a manually adjustable driver seat without adjustable underthigh support.

The Seltos gets rear window sunshades straight from the factory. These help in cutting the harsh sunlight and also keep the cabin temperature low. Since these are part of the vehicle’s feature list and officially homologated by government bodies, you should not have any problem with cops either for using shades.
The Kia Seltos offers a blindspot monitor in the instrument cluster, which activates whenever you use any of the indicators. This feature is really handy while driving on congested city roads and highways. The Grand Vitara, on the other hand, gets a 360-degree parking camera but it is useful for parking but doesn’t help with regular, everyday driving.
The Seltos also has a 360-degree camera but it also has front parking sensors to make parking even easier. Meanwhile, the Grand Vitara gets a 360-degree parking camera along with a camera-based alert system for pedestrians and obstacles.
The Kia Seltos offers auto wipers and auto headlamps whereas the Grand Vitara only gets automatic headlamps. Automatic, rain-sensing wipers automatically turn on when they detect water on the windshield and can also adjust the speed for the wipers for drizzles and heavy downpours.

The top-spec Seltos also comes with UV cut glasses that prevent harmful UV rays from entering the cabin and keep the cabin safe from harmful solar radiation. The Grand Vitara, on the other hand, gets green tinted windows, which are not as effective as UV-cut panes.
