Audi India sold 2,947 cars and SUVs in the first 9 months of 2022, helping it post a 29% growth in year-to-date sales figures. For reference, Audi India sold 2,291 cars in the same period last year.

Over the last 2 years, Audi India have launched new cars back-to-back in a bid to compete with other luxury car manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Apart from the 2022 Q7 and A8L facelift, Audi also launched the Q3 facelift in September, marking the comeback of the luxury SUV. Audi India also launched the A4 with updated features in September. The launch of these 2 models should help Audi register more sales in the coming months.

Apart from an increase in sales of new cars, Audi’s pre-owned Approved Plus business has also witnessed a growth of 73% in the first 9 months of 2022.

Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, head of Audi India, said “Our performance in the first nine months has laid the foundation for a positive performance in the remainder of the year. Robust growth, despite the semiconductor shortage and global supply-chain issues reiterates the customers’ enthusiasm around the brand and our wide product portfolio. With the upcoming festive season, we are expecting good growth on the back of sustained demand.”
