Audi Launches 2018 Q3 And Q7 Design Edition In India
German luxury car manufacturer, Audi has launched the Audi Q3 and the Audi Q7 Design Edition in the Indian market equipped with new features to accentuate the luxury experience for customers. The Audi Q3 and the Audi Q7 Design Edition are priced at Rs 40.76 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and Rs 82.37 lakh (ex-showroom, India) onwards respectively. While the Audi Q3 Design Edition will boast of sporty features like the Rear crystal clear tail lamps and Nappa leather seats combined with a full paint finish, the Audi Q7 Design Edition make it even more desirable than before with features like Rear Seat Entertainment and Audi Cool bag.

Under the hood, the A3 Design Edition gets 2.0 TDI quattro engine generating 184 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The 7 speed S tronic acceleration allows the car to reach 0-100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds while the ARAI certified fuel efficiency is 15.17 kmpl. In terms of features, the car sports bumper underlining the sporty character of the Audi Q3 with its sharper lines and its striking shape, while the air inlets in the front bumper gives the car a rugged and aggressive character along with Panoramic sunroof, R18 5 arm turbine design, contrasting grey, partly polished alloy wheels, LED headlights with signature LED DRLs, Full paint finish, Audi LED rings entry lights, Rear crystal clear tail lamps, quattro Film set and quattro Entry lights. At the inside, the features include 4 spoke multi-function steering wheel, Front-seats with electric adjustment, Sporty aluminum tangent inlays, Deluxe 2 zone automatic air conditioner as standard and Nappa leather seats along with infotainment features such as MMI radio, Bluetooth interface, Audi music interface with bluetooth interface and Voice dialogue system. Other highlights include Audi Drive Select, Hill-start assist & Hill descent assist, Electromechanical parking brake, Folding rear seat back, Front & Rear centre armrest, Cruise control, Parking system plus with reverse camera, Coat hanger and Key Cover in exterior body color. The safety features offered with the luxury car are Electronic stabilization program, 6 Airbags, Electronic vehicle immobilization device and Space-saving spare wheel.
On the other hand, the Audi Q7 Design Edition offers 2.0 TFSI quattro petrol engine producing 252 hp of maximum power and 370 Nm of peak torque mated to an 8 speed tiptronic transmission. The car is capable of doing 0-100 kmph in 6.9 seconds with top speed of 233 kmph and ARAI certified efficiency of 11.68 Kmpl. The diesel variant of the Q7 Design Edition gets 3.0 TDI quattro engine mated to an 8 speed tiptronic transmission and generating 249 hp and 600 Nm of torque. The engine can reach the sprint of 0-100 kmph in 7.1 seconds with fuel efficiency of 14.75 Kmpl.;
Both the special Design Editions of the Audi Q3 and Q7 were showcased at the launch of the Q5 petrol last month. Recently, Audi announced the roll-out of the Audi Mobile Terminal tour for 2018. It is a fully functional mobile showroom designed with an aim to provide the Audi experience to their customers. While the Audi Q3 takes against the likes of the recently launched Volvo XC40, the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA, the Audi Q7 locks horns with the likes of Volvo XC90, BMW X5 and the Mercedes GLS in the market.
