BMW 6 Series 50 Jahre Hits Out Shore At Rs. 72.90 Lakh | V3Cars

BMW have launched the 6 Series 50 Jahre M Edition in the Indian market at Rs. 72.90 lakh. The BMW 630i 50 Jahre M Edition is the second model out of the 10 50 Jahre M Edition models slated for our market. It comes with several sporty bits along with the new BMW M logo.

BMW 6 Series 50 Jahre M Edition

After the launch of the BMW M340i 50 Jahre M edition, the 630i 50 Jahre M edition has hit our shores, quite literally, as BMW are revealing every car out of its shipping container. Speaking of the changes, the BMW 630i 50 Jahre M edition gets a gloss black kidney grille, new BMW M Motorsport logo, 19-inch jet-black alloy wheels and BMW laser lights.

On the inside, the BMW 630i 50 Jahre M edition comes with alcantara leather, seatbelts with M colour stitching, electrically-adjustable front seats with memory, electrically-operated rear bench angle, rear seat entertainment package with twin 10.25-inch screens and a dual-pane sunroof.

BMW 630i 50 Jahre M Edition

The BMW 630i 50 Jahre M edition comes with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine. It produces 258PS of power and 400Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels. It can do the 0-100kmph sprint in 6.5 seconds and the driver can choose from comfort, comfort+, sport, sport+ and adaptive modes.

BMW also offer the 6 Series with an efficient and frugal 3.0L inline-6 diesel engine as well but that is not part of the 50 Jahre M edition package. The BMW 6 Series goes up against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class long wheelbase in the Indian market.
