Citroen C3 recently got the BS6 Phase-2 update, which impacted its mileage figures. The fuel efficiency of the 1.2L normal petrol engine as well as the 1.2L turbo petrol engine were affected by this upgrade. In this article, we’ll give you a quick comparison of old and new fuel efficiency figures applicable for the 2 petrol engines of the Citroen C3.
The C3 normal petrol’s mileage suffered a drop of 0.7kmpl and went down from 19.80kmpl to 19.10kmpl. Meanwhile, the Citroen C3’s turbo petrol engine with manual transmission got a nominal bump in its ARAI fuel efficiency figure. It went up from 19.40kmpl to 19.50kmpl — a change of 0.1kmpl. Citroen also recently added a new top model to the C3’s variant lineup. The new Shine variant sits above the Live and Feel variants and adds the following notable additional features:
- Power mirrors
- Rear camera
- Day/night inside mirror
- 15-inch machined alloy wheels
- Fog lamps
- Rear washer wiper
- Rear defogger
- Telematics (connected car tech)
- Faux rear skid plate
