    Complete lineup of next-gen Jeep Wrangler revealed

    There has been a lot of buzz building up around next generation Jeep Wrangler, as the company is not leaving any opportunity to grab the attention of the Jeep fans and make most of it. The iconic American SUV maker had already released official images revealing the outside and part of the inside of its all new Wrangler. However, Jeep’s parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has kept a whole lot for the official unveiling of the new-gen SUV. Full details and the trim details of the vehicle have not been revealed by the company.

    Nevertheless, the spying shutterbugs are always proactive and have gone ahead spying on the entire lineup of the next generation 2018 Jeep Wrangler. The complete range of the 2018 Wrangler has got spied on the roads of Michigan, including the Sahara, Rubicon, Sport and Overland variants, the spy images of which have been splashed on the internet.

    The all new 2018 Jeep Wrangler SUV will be making its world premiere on 29th of November, at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Wrangler holds an iconic position in the Jeep lineup and famous for its rugged traditional looks, military roots and outstanding off-road capability.

     

    The next generation model of the Jeep Wrangler is an evolution of the nameplate. It keeps to its roots, but embraces contemporariness. At least on the inside, the all new Wrangler has been greatly updated, as we know from the company’s officially posted images.

     

    Coming back to the latest spy images of the Jeep Wrangler variant prototypes, the pictures show that the new model comes with a small side air intake, LED lights on the front fenders as well as LED tail lights across all the trim levels. The signature 7-slat front radiator grille now gets, while the fog lights are positioned underneath, housed in the sporty new front bumper.

    The new-gen Wrangler is likely to pack in the familiar 3.6L Pentastar V6 motor paired with a new 8 speed automatic transmission for the very first time. The later versions might get powered by new powertrain choices including a 2.0L 4 pot turbocharged engine and a 3.0L turbocharged V6 diesel motor and a mild hybrid powertrain.

     

    As has been already revealed, the next-gen Wrangler comes with a new dashboard design which seems to be stretching across the width of the SUV vehicle in a single piece. A large touchscreen display is embedded at the center, while smaller versions of the UConnect infotainment unit will be there on the lower models. The official images have also revealed that the cabin will also get body colour accents. Moreover, there will also be a fold-down windshield to add to the convenience quotient of the model, while Jeep will also offer wide personalization choices will also be available with an array of various door and roof combinations.

    On the whole, the next generation Jeep Wrangler is certainly all braced up to create major excitement among its fans. In the meanwhile, the Wrangler pickup truck is also underway, which is expected to be introduced in early 2019.
