February 2023 - Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- 7 out of 14 Maruti cars saw a drop in sales figures in our YoY Maruti Suzuki car sales comparison
- Maruti produced 1,47,467 cars in February 2023 compared to 1,33,948 units in February 2022
- The Brezza was the top YoY gainer, with over 70% growth in the month of February, followed by Alto and Alto K10 pair with a 57% YoY growth and Baleno with a 48% YoY rise in dispatches
- The top YoY loser was Ciaz, with a YoY decline of 58%, followed by Celerio and S-Presso, with around 54% YoY decline
- The Maruti S-Cross was discontinued over the past year. Hence, there’s no YoY comparison for February 2023.
February 2023 - Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- Sales of the top selling Alto pair grew by over 13% in February compared to January.
- The Alto pair was the top selling product for Maruti after its launch, but soon its sales dwindled in the following months. However, it's back on top again, with well over 18,000 units sold in February.
- Maruti Suzuki sold nearly 9,800 units of the Ertiga in January compared to about 6,500 units in February, which makes for an MoM decline of 33%, making it the biggest loser in the February 2023 MoM comparison.
- Among the MoM losers, the Ignis and XL6 follow the Ertiga with around 18% decline in dispatch numbers in February MoM comparison.
- In February MoM comparison, the Dzire was the top gainer, with about 48% growth.
- The Celerio was next on the MoM gainers’ ranking, with a 30% growth. The Celerio was followed by the Baleno, with a 13.6% growth in MoM comparison analysis.
