In this February 2023 Toyota car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Toyota for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Toyota cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Toyota cars.
February 2023 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- Urban Cruiser dispatches declined over the last few months and in November for the first time, Toyota dispatched zero units of B2-segment SUV. It was discontinued by the carmaker soon after
- Among the mass-market offerings from the carmaker, the Fortuner was the top YoY gainer, with a growth of 85%
- Innova dispatches dropped by almost 3.5% in February 2023 compared to February 2022
- The Carmy also saw a YoY decline of 58% in February 2023 comparison
- Toyota’s recently launched Hyryder SUV sat at the top spot in terms of sales volume for the brand

February 2023 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- Most mass-market cars from Toyota saw a growth in MoM sales comparison for February 2023. The Fortuner and Hyryder witnessed a MoM sales decline of over 7% and 21%, respectively.
- The Innova reported the best growth figures among mass-market cars from Toyota, with 192% MoM growth
- Innova badge showed this growth after the launch of Innova Hycross, which was anticipated
- We are ignoring the figures of Hilux because only 1 unit was dispatched in January 2023
