Hindustan Motors pulled the plug on the Ambassador back in 2014 owing to a steep fall in demand. The Frech carmaker Peugoet bought the rights to the Ambassador nameplate in 2017 for Rs. 80 crore. Uttam Bose, the director of Hindustan Motors, has now revealed that the Ambassador project is under development and the launch will take place in the next two years.
