Launched on September 4, Honda Cars India have commenced deliveries of the new Elevate. Honda organised a mega event to deliver 100 Elevate SUVs to customers in Hyderabad. Read on to know more about the Honda Elevate SUV.

Mr Yuichi Murata, Director - Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India, handed over the keys to 100 customers at the delivery event. Honda revealed that the brand has planned similar mega delivery events in multiple states across the country in the coming weeks.

On the delivery event, Mr Yuichi Murata shared, “We are excited to deliver our much-anticipated SUV, the Honda Elevate to our esteemed customers at this special and memorable mega delivery event. Today we are delivering 100 units of Elevate in Hyderabad followed by many more events in other cities in coming days. We are overwhelmed by the excitement and appreciation for the Honda Elevate. We believe the strong entry of Honda Elevate in the Indian SUV market will open up new vistas for our brand’s presence in the country. We welcome all Elevate customers into our Honda Family."

Here’s a quick look at the engine and transmission details of the Honda Elevate:
The Honda Elevate offers the same 1.5L normal petrol engine as the City sedan. It produces 121PS of power at 6600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4300rpm. The normal petrol engine can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The Honda Elevate rivals other C-segment SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
