Hyundai Alcazar Interior Spied; Gets Captain Seats In Second Row | V3Cars
Hyundai recently confirmed that its 7-seater SUV will be called the Alcazar and it will make its global debut soon. Now, courtesy of a leak, we have a glimpse of the SUV’s interior. The car spied here is the 6-seater version of the Alcazar which gets captain seats in the second row instead of the bench-type seat on the 7-seater Alcazar and the standard Creta.

Front what we can see in the spy shots, it gets a dual-tone biege-black interior as the standard Creta. It also gets height-adjustable headrests for all three-row of seats, dedicated AC vents for the second and a centre armrest with storage and cup holders. Although not visible in the spy shot, Alcazar should get dedicated AC vents and armrest in the third row as well.
Other elements and features on the Alcazar are expected to remain similar to the Creta. The 5-seater SUV is equipped with features like auto LED headlamps, auto AC, a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, ambient lighting, cruise control, air purifier, wireless mobile charging, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and connected car tech.
Safety features on offer should include multiple airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, hill launch assist, rear disc brakes and electronic parking brake with auto hold.
Under the hood, the Alcaraz is expected to share its engines with the Creta. However, while the Creta is available with three engines to choose from- 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.4-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel, the Alcaraz is expected to get just two engines including a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine (140PS and 242Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (115PS and 250Nm). Both the engines are expected to be offered with a 6-speed MT as standard along with an option of 7-speed DCT automatic with petrol and 6-speed torque converter automatic with diesel.
Prices of the Hyundai Alcazar are expected to start at a premium of around Rs 1 lakh over the Creta which retails from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 17.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It will take on likes of the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and the Mahindra XUV500.
