On the launch day of the Exter, Hyundai received close to 11,000 bookings for its small SUV. Now, the Exter bookings tally has crossed the 50,000 unit mark within a month. Read on to know a few interesting takeaways from the bookings breakdown.

Sunroof Remains A Buyer’s Delight

As per Hyundai, over 75% of the bookings consist of variants that offer the sunroof. Hyundai offer the sunroof in the SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect variants of the Exter. Furthermore, the automatic variants of the Exter account for one-third of the total bookings. The Exter is currently the only model in the Indian market to offer paddle shifters with an automated manual transmission (AMT). It is worth noting that all variants of the Exter offer the AMT option except the base EX variant.
