Hyundai launched the Prime HB and Prime SD taxi models in December 2025. The Prime HB and Prime SD are based on the Grand i10 Nios and Aura, respectively. Following their introduction, both models have recorded a noticeable increase in sales.
Hyundai are currently including the Prime taxi sales in the overall monthly sales figures of the Grand i10 Nios and Aura, which has contributed to a strong jump in their January 2026 sales figures. Let’s take a closer look at the data.

Both models witnessed significant year-on-year growth in January 2026 compared to January 2025:
Such a sharp jump, especially in the B-segment, indicates the strong contribution from the newly-launched, fleet-oriented Prime versions in the sales figures of the Grand i10 Nios and Aura.
