The Tucson comes with 2.0-litre normal petrol and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. Both the engines are currently available with a 6-speed manual transmission in their base trims only. Rest all variants come with only 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The top GLS variant with the diesel engine further adds all-wheel drive to the package.

The same engines are expected to continue with the Tucson facelift as well, once that launches in India later in 2020.
