The updated cascading grille will get bigger chrome elements, as we see with the upcoming 2022 Hyundai Tucson. The split headlight set up with the projector bulb remains as before whereas the turn signals now get two reflectors at either end. The lower bumper now gets a squarish design with fog lamps.

At the side, the 2022 Venue facelift doesn’t get any changes, save for the new design for the alloy wheels. The rear of the 2022 Venue facelift will offer the segment-first connected LED tail lights. In addition to that, the rear profile will also get a squarish bumper design with reflectors on the lower bumper to match the front design.

We expect the Hyundai Venue facelift to offer a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, digital driver’s display as well as drive and traction modes. We can expect a minor nip and tuck to the dashboard layout and seat upholstery as well.

On the powertrain front, we expect the Hyundai Venue facelift to carry forward the same set of engines as before. The lower variants will come with a 1.2L normal petrol engine with 83PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The 1.0L turbo petrol and the 1.5L turbo diesel may remain unchanged with 120PS & 172 Nm and 100PS & 240 Nm respectively. We are expecting Hyundai to tweak the power and torque delivery to offer a better driving experience.

Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual with the 1.2L normal petrol, a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission and 7-speed DCT with the 1.0L turbo petrol and a 6-speed manual with the 1.5L turbo diesel. In addition to that, we expect Hyundai to offer the 1.5L turbo diesel automatic powertrain. However, the Venue facelift may miss on a 6-speed manual transmission with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine.
