In this June 2022 cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the segment-wise sales figures along with the YoY and MoM change for each carmaker in India. We’ll also include our observations based on the sales data and possible reasons behind a massive increase or drop in sales, where applicable. Lastly, the table with monthly sales of all body-styles for the last 6 months will give you an idea about their 6-month sales trend.

Segment-Wise June 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

In terms of YoY change, D1 segment was the biggest gainer posting a 158% YoY improvement followed by D2 segment with 101% YoY gain in June 2022
The A segment saw the lowest gain with YoY sales improvement of 12.8%
None of the segments witnessed a YoY drop in production in June 2022

Segment-Wise June 2022 Car Sales - MoM Change

D2 segment saw the biggest MoM production jump of 159% followed distantly by D1 with 45.5% improvement
The A segment was the only MoM loser in June 2022 and recorded a 6.75% MoM drop
