June 2023 Tata Car Sales Analysis - YoY, MoM Change, 6-Month Trend | V3Cars

In this June 2023 Tata car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Tata Motors for the last month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Tata cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Tata cars.

June 2023 - Tata Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Over half the cars in Tata’s portfolio reported a decline in sales numbers in June of 2023 compared to that of June of 2022.
Speaking of losers, Tigor and Harrier topped the chart with a 32.3% decline in YoY comparison analysis for June 2023. It was followed by Safari D1-SUV with a 11% drop in sales numbers.
The other loser was the Nexon, which reported a decline of 3.27%.
The Tiago was the top gainer, with about 53.20% YoY growth, which was followed by the Altroz with a 35.11% growth and Punch with a 5.53% YoY rise.
The Nexon is the big volume car in Tata Motors’ portfolio, and now the Punch is following closely in second spot.
The Nexon and Punch are the only 2 cars in Tata’s portfolio with a 5-figure monthly sales figure.

June 2023 - Tata Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

In terms of MoM change, Tiago, Altroz and Tigor were the only cars which reported a growth.
The Altroz reported an impressive growth of 36.76% whereas Tigor reported a growth of 23.47% only.
The Tiago hatchback sales remained practically consistent with around 8,100 units dispatched.
The rest reported a decline in MoM comparison, with Harrier as the top loser with 11.42% drop in numbers.
The other cars and their MoM drops are:
- Safari (6.36%)
- Nexon (4.13%)
- Punch (1.75%)
