Kia Carens Luxury Optional Variant Launched

Kia offer the Carens Luxury Optional variant with the 7-seater configuration and automatic transmission only. The Luxury Optional variant comes with either the 1.5L turbo petrol engine paired with a dual clutch automatic (DCT) or the 1.5L turbo diesel mated to a torque converter (TC) automatic.

The Carens Luxury Optional variant offers 2 extra features over the Luxury variant. These features include an electronically operated sunroof and ambient lighting linked with drive modes. Apart from these features, the Luxury Plus offers all the features of the Carens Luxury variant.

It is worth mentioning that the Luxury variant of the Carens doesn’t offer the automatic transmission option. Thus, the introduction of the new Luxury Optional variant makes the Carens automatic more accessible to prospective buyers. The Luxury Optional diesel automatic variant of the Carens costs Rs. 1.1 lakh less than the Luxury Plus diesel automatic. The Carens Luxury Optional petrol automatic costs Rs. 1.45 lakh less than the Luxury Plus petrol automatic.
