Kia Carens Luxury Optional Variant Launched — Gets Sunroof | V3Cars

Kia India have launched a new Luxury Optional variant of the Carens MPV. The Luxury Optional variant sits between the Luxury and Luxury Plus variants and its prices start from Rs. 17.00 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia Carens Luxury Optional Variant Launched

Kia offer the Carens Luxury Optional variant with the 7-seater configuration and automatic transmission only. The Luxury Optional variant comes with either the 1.5L turbo petrol engine paired with a dual clutch automatic (DCT) or the 1.5L turbo diesel mated to a torque converter (TC) automatic.

Kia Carens Luxury Optional Features

The Carens Luxury Optional variant offers 2 extra features over the Luxury variant. These features include an electronically operated sunroof and ambient lighting linked with drive modes. Apart from these features, the Luxury Plus offers all the features of the Carens Luxury variant.

The newly launched Luxury Optional variant reduces the entry point for customers considering the Carens with an automatic transmission. It is worth mentioning that the Luxury variant of the Carens doesn’t offer the automatic transmission option. Thus, the introduction of the new Luxury Optional variant makes the Carens automatic more accessible to prospective buyers. The Luxury Optional diesel automatic variant of the Carens costs Rs. 1.1 lakh less than the Luxury Plus diesel automatic. The Carens Luxury Optional petrol automatic costs Rs. 1.45 lakh less than the Luxury Plus petrol automatic.
