Kia Carens Prices Hiked By Upto Rs. 70,000 | V3Cars

Kia Motors have silently updated the prices of the Carens. They have hiked the prices of the 2022 Carens MPV by Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 70,000. Now, the Carens’ prices start from Rs. 9.60 lakh, and the range-topping model costs Rs. 17.70 lakh.

The low-spec variants see a Rs. 60,000 hike in prices. The Luxury Plus diesel automatic variant now costs Rs. 65,000 more for the 6-seater variant and Rs. 70,000 more for the 7-seater variant.

The difference between the prices of the 1.5L normal petrol engine and the 1.4L turbo-petrol engine has now dropped to Rs. 1.60 lakh, Rs. 40,000 less than before. The upgrade from 1.5L petrol to 1.5L diesel now costs Rs. 1.80 lakh, Rs. 20,000 less than before.

The price difference between turbo-petrol and diesel engine options is Rs. 20,000. The 7-seater variant in the top-spec model costs Rs. 5,000 more than the 6-seater variant. The upgrade to automatic transmission costs Rs. 90,000 with the turbo petrol and turbo diesel.

The Carens comes with 3 engine options – a 1.5L normal petrol engine, a 1.4L turbo petrol engine and a 1.5L turbo-diesel engine. All of these engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission. Automatic transmission options include a 7-speed DCT with the 1.4L turbo petrol engine and a 6-speed TC automatic transmission with the 1.5L diesel engine.
