Kia Carens X Line Launched – Prices, Specs & Features | V3Cars

The Kia Carens X Line was launched in India today with prices ranging from Rs. 18.95 lakh to Rs. 19.45 lakh. The new top-of-the-line variant of the Carens is based on the Luxury Plus variant and it is only available with the 6-seater option. Kia Carens X Line Design Changes

Like the Seltos X Line, Kia offer the newly-launched Carens X Line variant with a Matte Graphite colour option. Meanwhile, the grille surrounds, trim pieces on the front and rear bumper, ORVM covers, skid plates and the side door garnish are all finished in gloss black. Other visual changes includes the addition of the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

On the inside, Kia offer the Carens X Line with 2 interior themes – Splendid Sage Green and Two-Tone Black. It also offers the Rear Seat Entertainment package, which comprises an infotainment screen mounted behind the front passenger seat, as standard. Kia says this infotainment system can be controlled via a smartphone with features such as screen mirroring. It also supports various entertainment apps as well.

Kia Carens X Line Powertrain

The Kia Carens X Line offers the same engine options as other variants – a 1.5L turbo petrol and a 1.5l turbo diesel engine. In the Carens X Line, the 1.5L turbo-petrol engine is only available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). This engine is tuned to offer 160PS of power and 253Nm of pak torque. The 1.5L diesel engine, on the other hand, is offered with a 6-speed torque converter (TC) automatic transmission and this combination produces 115PS of power and 250Nm of torque.
