In order to mark the first anniversary of the Seltos SUV in India, Kia has launched the Seltos Anniversary Edition at a starting price of Rs 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom India). It attracts a premium of Rs 41,000 over the HTX variant, on which the Anniversary Edition is based on.

For the premium of Rs 41,000, the Anniversary Edition gets various cosmetic updates. On the outside, it gets tusk shape front skid plate with silver diffuser fins, Raven Black rear skid plate with silver diffuser fin, Tangerine fog lamp bezel, Tangerine dual muffler design, side skirts with tangerine inserts & Seltos Logo, 1st Anniversary Edition badging on the tailgate and differently designed 17-inch black alloy wheels with Tangerine centre cap. It also features redesigned front and rear bumpers. As a result, the Anniversary Edition is longer than the standard Seltos by 60mm.
On the inside, it will get black leatherette seats with a honeycomb pattern. The standard HTX variant comes with beige seat. In terms of features, it gets remote engine start feature with a manual transmission. On the standard HTX variant, remote engine start is limited CVT variant only.
Other features on the Anniversary Edition remain similar to the HTX variant. It gets auto LED headlamps with DRLs, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming IRVM, ambient lighting, cruise control, auto AC with rear AC vents, air purifier, LED fog lamps and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and connected car tech. Safety features on offer include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.
The Seltos Anniversary Edition is available with one monotone Aurora Black Pearl colour, and three dual-tone colour schemes - Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl, Steel Silver with Aurora Black Pearl and Gravity Grey with Aurora Black Pearl. While Glacier White and the Steel Silver were already offered with a black roof, Gravity Grey with black roof is a new addition.
Under the hood, the limited edition Seltos is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. It gets a set of 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine makes 115PS of maximum power and 144Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. The diesel engine, on the other hand, makes 114PS of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque and is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Kia also offers the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission with the diesel engine, but it is limited to the HTK+, HTX+ and GTX+ variants only.
