Kia has launched the Seltos in India and its prices start from Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Kia Seltos is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. There are two petrol engines on offer and one diesel, and all the engines can be had with either a manual transmission or an automatic.
Here is a list of variant-wise prices of the Seltos:
The Seltos comes with a 3 year/unlimited km warranty. The warranty is extendable to 5 years as well. Kia has received over 32,000 bookings for the Setlos. The carmaker says it plans to deliver the car quickly and won’t close the bookings. 5000 units of the Seltos have already been manufactured and deliveries will start from 22 August 2019.
Kia had earlier revealed the Seltos’ powertrain options, and we have also driven two of these engines: 1.4-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. You can watch our review of the Seltos here. The specifications of the SUV are as follows:
On the outside, the Seltos is larger than the Hyundai Creta, its primary rival in the compact SUV space. The Kia Seltos is available with key features like sunroof, connected tech, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, recline option on the rear bench, air purifier, lane watch camera, 360-degree parking camera and 6 airbags.
Apart from the Creta, the Seltos competes with cars like the Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster and Captur. Some of the mid-size SUVs like the MG Hector and Tata Harrier also rival the Seltos on the price chart.
