The Sonet 1.2L, as the name suggests, comes with a 1.2L normal petrol engine. It is the same engine that powers a host of Hyundai cars like the Grand i10 Nios, i20, Exter and Venue. It produces 83PS of power at 6000rpm and 115Nm of torque at 4200rpm. Unlike in other Hyundai offerings, the 1.2L normal petrol engine in the Sonet comes with a sole 5-speed manual transmission.
While the Sonet makes another step into becoming a desirable SUV in the eyes of the customers, Kia India have even bigger plans to update the Sonet and find new buyers for the B2-SUV.
