A teaser video shared on Mahindra’s social media channels reveals that the BE 6 Sporteq will get a triple-screen dashboard layout, bringing it in line with other electric SUVs in Mahindra’s range such as the XEV 9E.
The updated BE 6 is expected to receive several interior changes, while its exterior design is likely to remain largely unchanged. Mahindra are also not expected to make any mechanical changes to the electric SUV.

The biggest confirmed change to the BE 6 Sporteq is the addition of a triple-screen dashboard. The teaser confirms 3 displays positioned side-by-side across the dashboard, similar to the setup offered in the XEV 9E.
The existing BE 6 already features a large central touchscreen and digital driver’s display, but the updated model is expected to add a dedicated display for the front passenger.

Along with the new screens, Mahindra are expected to revise the interior theme of the BE 6. The current model’s floating centre spine, which connects the centre console to the dashboard, is expected to be removed. This should give the cabin a more open appearance and create additional usable space between the front seats.
It remains to be seen if Mahindra continue to offer the standard BE 6 alongside the new Sporteq edition.

The BE 6 Sporteq is not expected to receive any mechanical changes. It is likely to continue with the existing 59kWh and 79kWh battery pack options.
The standard BE 6 is offered with different electric motor outputs depending on the battery and variant. The larger battery pack offers a higher claimed range, making it the preferred option for buyers prioritising long-distance usability.
Mahindra are therefore likely to focus this update primarily on improving the BE 6’s cabin experience and technology rather than making changes to its electric powertrain.

Mahindra have confirmed that the updated BE 6 will be unveiled on August 15. The company traditionally uses its Independence Day event to showcase new products and technologies, and this year’s event is expected to feature a near-production version of the Vision S SUV, the BE 6 Sporteq and the 3-door Thar facelift.
More details about the updated BE 6, including its variant lineup, features and prices, are expected to be revealed closer to or during the August 15 unveil.
