Mahindra revealed the eKUV100 mini electric SUV at the 2020 Auto Expo. However, the eKUV100 is yet to go on sale. Mahindra have now revealed that they are considering the eKUV100 for commercial and fleet segments.

Currently, Mahindra are gearing up to reveal the XUV400 electric SUV. The electric version of the XUV300 will take on the Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max in the passenger electric SUV segment. The eKUV100, on the other hand, will cater to commercial buyers and fleet operators. Mahindra may even consider it for various export markets. However, it is unlikely to be sold to private car buyers in the country.

The eKUV100 showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo featured a 15.9kWh battery, which gave the electric SUV a claimed range of 120km on a single charge. This is significantly less than the claimed 306km range of the current most affordable EV, the Tata Tigor EV. In terms of features, the eKUV100 offers a touchscreen infotainment system, LED headlights and wheel covers.
