Mahindra are currently working on the much-awaited XUV300 facelift. The Mahindra B2-SUV is likely to offer a panoramic sunroof this time around, making it the first SUV in its segment to offer this feature in India. Let’s take a look at what the upcoming XUV300 has to offer.

The current XUV300 comes with a single-unit sunroof. However, Mahindra are likely offer a panoramic sunroof in the updated model. According to our sources, the all-electric XUV400 will also get the panoramic sunroof in its next update. The carmaker plans to make panoramic sunroof available in all its SUVs as it is a highly-coveted feature among car buyers these days.

The upcoming XUV300 is likely to get an updated front and rear profile with new headlamps, tail lamps, and all-new bumpers. In terms of interior changes, we expect Mahindra to make significant changes to the cabin by adding new features.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Powertrain Details

Unlike the visual upgrades, the XUV300 will likely offer the same engine options as the current SUV.

The XUV300 is currently available with 4 engine-transmission combination options:

  • 1.2L turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed manual transmission
  • 1.2L turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT)
  • 1.5L turbo diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission
  • 1.5L turbo diesel engine with a 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT)

While the petrol engine produces 130PS of power and 230Nm of torque, the diesel engine makes 117PS of power and 300Nm of torque.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Rivals And Launch Details

Mahindra will likely launch the updated XUV300 in early 2024. However, the carmaker is expected to showcase the XUV300 facelift towards the end of 2023. The XUV300 facelift will compete with other B2-segment SUVs such as the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Brezza, among others.
