Mahindra have launched the XUV300 TurboSport with prices starting from Rs. 10.35 lakh ex-showroom. The new engine uses direct injection to produce 20PS more power and 50Nm more torque than the older 1.2L turbo petrol engine. With the latest launch, the XUV300 is now available with 3 engine choices – the standard 1.2L turbo petrol, the direct injection 1.2L turbo petrol and the 1.5L turbo diesel engine.

The XUV300 TurboSport is available in 3 variants and their prices are as follows:

The new 1.2L turbo petrol engine in the XUV300 produces 130PS of power at 5000rpm and 230Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3750rpm. It also comes with an over boost feature that increases the torque to 250Nm for a brief period. Mahindra claim the XUV300 TurboSport is the fastest SUV under Rs. 15 lakh, with a 0-60kmph acceleration time of 5 seconds. The XUV300 Turbo Sport only comes with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Mahindra offer the XUV300 Turbo Sport in 4 colour options:

It is worth noting that Mahindra have not made any changes to the suspension and overall dynamics of the XUV300 TurboSport. The recently-launched Hyundai Venue N Line, which is a direct rival of the XUV300 Turbo Sport, comes with suspension, steering and exhaust upgrades over the regular Venue.
