Mahindra XUV700 Prices Announced | V3Cars
Mahindra launched the XUV700 in August but only revealed the prices of some of the variants. Now we have the complete list of variants along with seating options and transmission combinations and their respective ex-showroom prices.
Mahindra XUV700 5-Seat Prices
The Mahindra XUV700 starts at Rs. 11.99 lakh with the base petrol-manual. The top model of the Mahindra XUV700 costs Rs. 21.09 lakh and it gets you the AX7 variant with diesel engine, automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive.
The price difference between the Mahindra XUV700 petrol and diesel variants is Rs. 50,000 to 60,000, which is reasonable. The automatic transmission with the XUV700 petrol and diesel adds Rs. 1.6 lakh to the cost. This price is on the higher side. Meanwhile, 4WD or AWD is only available in the top-spec 7-seat AX7 variant with a diesel engine and automatic transmission. It adds Rs. 1.3 lakh to the ex-showroom price.
The additional cost for the 4WD is also considerably higher than expected but Mahindra maintain a monopoly in this area. None of the XUV700’s direct rivals like the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector, Hector Plus, Tata Harrier and Safari has 4WD even as an option. However, we wish the 4WD was made available in lower variants as well. So, at least we are glad to see this as an option.
The 7-seat option is mostly limited to diesel engines. It’s worth noting that the AX7 variant is the only one with 7-seats, a petrol engine and an automatic transmission.
The Luxury pack is available with the AX7 petrol and diesel automatic for an additional Rs. 1.8 lakh. It adds the following features:
