Last week, we had reported that Maruti Suzuki have decided to offer 6 airbags across all variants of the Brezza SUV. Now, Maruti have launched the updated Brezza 2025 and just as we had reported, the additional safety features have resulted in a price increase. Check out the standard safety features and latest ex-showroom prices of the Brezza 2025 below.

As part of the latest update, the 2025 Brezza gets several safety features as standard. All variants of the 2025 Brezza now get 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers and height-adjustable front seatbelts as standard. Additionally, all variants now get enhanced convenience features such as rear centre armrest with upholders and 60:40 split folding rear seats.
Before the update, 6 airbags and height-adjustable front seatbelts were only offered in the top ZXI Plus variant of the SUV, and all variants got 4x 3-point seatbelts and a lap belt for the middle passenger in the 2nd row. The 60:40 split rear seats and rear centre armrest were only offered in the ZXI and ZXI Plus variants.

Here’s a look at the new prices of the Brezza 6 airbag variants versus the model they replace:
Previously, only the top ZXI Plus variants offered 6 airbags. With the addition of 4 airbags to lower variants, prices have increased between Rs. 5,500 and Rs. 15,000. Interestingly, the price increase isn’t uniform across these newly upgraded variants. This strategic pricing adjustment likely aims to enhance the perceived value proposition and incentivise customers to upgrade to higher trim levels. The top-end Brezza, which already included 6 airbags, saw no price increase, either with the airbag addition to other trims or in February 2025.
The percentage price increase for the variants now equipped with the additional airbags ranges from 0.52% to 1.76%.

Maruti Suzuki have made slight changes to the spec sheet of the 2025 Brezza. Take a look at the latest powertrain specs of Maruti’s B2-SUV below:
The Brezza LXI and VXI manual variants now produce less power than before. However, there’s a marginal improvement in torque and peak torque is produced at fewer rpm than before. Maruti Suzuki claim these changes have resulted in a slight improvement in mileage. The Brezza LXI and VXI manual variants now return 17.8kmpl compared to the 17.38kmpl before, which is an improvement of 0.42kmpl.
The 2025 Brezza is also available with a 1.5L CNG bi-fuel engine that produces 88PS of power and 122Nm of torque and offers a mileage of 25.52km/kg.
